Aman, University of Virginia
When Aman first began researching colleges, he quickly discovered that the online resources available to him were generic and didn't offer much value for his specific situation. Frustrated, he knew he needed to take a different approach if he was going to achieve his dream. That's when he decided to seek out specialized guidance and began working with us to help him focus on crafting a strong application.
With his coach's guidance, Aman was able to improve his writing skills and better communicate why he wanted to transfer to a specific college. He was able to showcase his unique background, experiences, and passions in a way that set him apart from other applicants.
Aman was able to transfer from a community college to the University of Virginia and also earned the prestigious Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Scholarship. This scholarship not only covered his tuition and living expenses but also provided him with additional resources and opportunities to further his education and career goals.
Aman's journey doesn't end there; today he is a Data Engineering Team Lead, focused on cloud computing, DevOps, and scrum. He founded The Caring Consultants, an organization that helps build bridges for low-income, first-generation, and nontraditional students to pursue the future careers they desire. Aman is dedicated to giving back and making higher education more accessible for those who may face similar challenges as he did. He is living proof that with hard work, perseverance, and the right guidance, anyone can achieve their dreams, no matter where they come from.
In his free time, Aman continues to pursue his passions; he loves to run, train, and create delicious protein snacks. He believes in a healthy lifestyle, and his dedication to fitness and nutrition is an inspiration to many. Aman's story is a shining example of how anyone can overcome obstacles and achieve their goals with the right mindset and determination. He is a true inspiration to all those who have ever doubted their own abilities and a reminder that with hard work and perseverance, anything is possible.
