Connie, University of Virginia
At the beginning of her first semester at her old college, Connie reached out to us for assistance. She was eager to reapply again, put her best foot forward on her application, and be able to convey her unique story through her writing. At first, Connie only wanted to apply to UVA. However, the weekly writing exercises that David, Connie's coach and the director of Essayist, provided helped her "create unique templates" that made it easy for her to apply to ten schools.
Although Connie was accepted to NYU, the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and Boston University, she was on the waitlist at UVA. However, Connie continued working with us for the entire summer, and together, we were able to send three update letters to admissions at UVA. Even though she did not get off the waitlist at that time, Connie's determination and eagerness to attend UVA led her to reapply the following spring, sending the same essays she wrote while working with us. It is no surprise that after giving her all to this process, Connie was successfully admitted to UVA.
Connie expressed that while working with us, she not only grew as a writer but also felt like our services "maximized her chances of getting in." She also said that the essays she wrote "explained her circumstances and told her story perfectly while also conveying her academic interests."
This is a clear example of perseverance and consistency. Like Connie, you too can attend your dream school. With the right guidance and support, you can overcome any obstacles and achieve your goals. Connie's story is a testament to the power of never giving up and staying true to your dreams.

Connie's story is the embodiment of bravery, perseverance, and determination. When she was a senior in high school, she found herself lost in the college application process. She didn't know how to write her personal statement or school-related supplements, which led her to not being accepted to her dream school: The University of Virginia (UVA). However, Connie didn't let this setback discourage her.
