Jonathan, University of California, Berkeley

When Strickland first reached out to us, he was feeling lost and uncertain. "I was lost. I didn’t find anyone that I was comfortable working with because transferring was a big deal for me. "I also had anxiety and fears," he said. However, after working with us, he found that "all [his] fears went away." He found our coaching services invaluable in helping him navigate the transfer application process.

One of the most significant benefits that Strickland found from working with us was the development of his critical thinking skills and the improvement of his writing skills. He said that our "strategies and genius expertise" were invaluable to him and helped him "maximize [his] chances of getting in" to his dream school.

Strickland teaches us a valuable lesson through his journey of transferring from a community college to his dream school: no matter what hurdles we face, we should never give up on our dreams, and that with the appropriate direction and support, anything is possible.

Despite challenges and difficulties, he was motivated to accomplish his dream, which he was able to do with the assistance of our coaching services.

Strickland's story is truly one of determination and perseverance. As a first-generation student, he did not have the support of his parents to navigate the college admissions process, which led him to attend a community college in California. Despite this setback, Strickland had a clear goal in mind: to transfer to a four-year university. He knew that this would not be easy, but he was determined to make it happen.
